I had an interesting conversation with my brother’s fiance, Jamie, while driving in the car yesterday back from Philadelphia. We were discussing multiple things- from the plans of their honeymoon to previous trips she had taken to Costa Rica and such. This topic caught my attention and I thought it to be worthy to post about.

Jamie had mentioned when she was in Costa Rica she did go zip-lining and she thought it was a blast. However, she was very disgusted by the helmets. Apparently the helmets are shared among zip-liner to zip-liner and never cleaned. They are sweaty and gross. I’m glad I know this ahead of time b/c I know I would be incredibly grossed out too.

Therefore, I am going to purchase two Belizean flag bandanas to tie around our heads before putting the helmets on.  One for Courtney and one for me. We don’t want to be picking up any lice or weird skin fungi!
