We used Maya Walk for a few excursions. They were great. Ask for Martin, He made the tour through the ATM caves feel like being in a National Geographic documentary with his commentary. I couldn't believe we were going back into the cave about a mile in the dark with helmets and headlamps. I wasn't scared or nervous for a minute. It was an exhilarating tour, I highly recommend Martin, Maya Walk and the caves.

Ande, I did see reviews on MayaWalk Tours and while they have gotten really good reviews, they have not so great ones as well. It seems as though the MayaWalk tours get bad reviews when you book last minute. Also, their receptionist lady isn't very nice. Mayawalk is the cheapest and the good reviews outweigh the bad reviews They also have had good communication with us so I think we will stick with them this time around (pretty far into the booking process) We will let you know how it goes. Also, if you do go with Pacz tours, we'd love to know how that worked out for you as well. I did a bit of research on them and they do seem remarkable as well, however, as I mentioned we're pretty far along into the booking process. We're taking a gamble here I guess. But let's hope for the best! I still think Jungle Rock was a great suggestion, thanks so much!

Liz, also look at pacz tours for ATM. I have no direct experience (just endless planning just like you) but there were some iffy reviews for Mayawalk in the forums and great comments on pacz.
