Sorry for the Delay

I want to sincerely apologize for the lack of our posts since our trip to Belize. Courtney has been busy with work and I was promoted two days after my return to a position that requires full attention all day long and also sometimes staying later than anticipated. I have also been bogged down with Boston Fashion week 2009 activities. Anyhow, things are slowing down after this weekend and Courtney has a new IMac so we will have more opportunities to post and also go through all of our photos and videos from the trip. Stay Tuned…
just a note to you all. when we were living in turkey we always saw children and adults begging. they were the most desparate looking people i had ever seen. i always gave them some money and was always critized by c’s mom because she saw several at the end of the day getting into a mercedes and leaving the streets. i always reminded her that you pay to go to the theater to see a wonderful performance. i thought these desparate looking people were putting on a wonderful performance and therefore they should be rewarded. i did not care if they were pretending or not. therefore i gave them money. for your info the average anual wage in turkey is $100. they have nothing but would give a stranger anything they needed if they could afford to do so. just thought i would pass this along. love d.
